Night visibility and complicated technical observation

 Biking at night can be difficult. Here I have compiled some researching material to review first before attending or gathering a trail ride. Also a review of some revised variety of materials and options. Including there properties and other improvements.

Common ambient conditions:
  • Thermal/night vision
  • Head lamps
  • Some focal glasses to read signs easily
Visibility from other riders:
  • Assisted response red tail light and reflective clothing
  • Yelling to riders traveling in opposite direction for awareness of other riders behind your direction of travel
Consideration of other riders:
  • Bring a GPS locator for security if anyone gets separated or gets injured
  • Designate a meeting point if any riders stray loose from one another
  • Safety check for tire patch kits and test your GPS device for functionality
Anyone who gets put out is also a responsibility to everyone. Keep your trails safe.
